Not a very good experience from sales to finance to general manager at first they were pleasant and helpful, then closing time comes numbers change and attitude change and the lies come out dealt with them for over 3 weeks Finally cancelled deal

Stay far away from this dealership. I drove over 2 hours and stayed overnight to go see this Chrysler 300 it was the car I was looking for. The general manager plays games with the numbers. I have been in the business many years which I told him upfront not to play games with me. Well let’s start out by offering me 500 for my trade in on the first “pencil”. I said it would take 2700 on my trade to make the deal which was a very fair number. He said I quote if I give you 2700 would you buy the car? I said yes I would so he redone the worksheet with the 2700 and then adds $1995 for ceramic wax which he says that’s what we put on all cars. Well this was a used car to begin with and had rust on it. I said I don’t want it he the “pencils ” the deal and lowers my trade to 2000. I said that’s wrong and I walked out and drove home. The GM tries to play games. Stay as far away as you can from Oliver Ford.

I ordered a Maverick from Alan in September of 2022.
I ordered a Maverick from Alan in September of 2022. It was finally delivered July 5th. I was only aware due to the Ford Dashboard, and when I reached out to Alan, my salesmen, he asked me if I could come down that day and that they 'don't hold vehicles'. I went to pick the truck up the following morning. I was satisfied with the vehicle and after 10 months of waiting, very excited to get my new Maverick. Alan finally brought the paperwork over and informed me that they were going to charge me $10,000 over MSRP, which was $30,800. I had signed a purchase order in September with this price and it corresponded with the Ford Dashboard. As you can imagine, I was upset, and in his explanation for why the price was hiked, Alan pulled up Carvana's website to show me the current market value. Also stating that people are reselling these after ordering. To which I responded I would gladly sign a contract of some sort, as I had no intention of reselling. After they wouldn't budge more than a few grand (and offering me well below my KBB trade in value), I left. I received a phone call from Alan 5 minutes later saying they could come up $2k on my trade in, which is still $2k below the average trade in value, but couldn't come down on the price of the truck. Another justification that Alan brought out was, 'they have to keep the lights on'.... Take it for what you will, but I will never return to this facility, nor a Ford dealership. Be aware of this story and the people who were involved if you plan on going to Oliver Ford. I wasted 10 months waiting for this vehicle, and these folks didn't seem to care at all about that. The vehicle I ordered wouldn't have been allocated to them without my order, and now they get to jack up the price as they see fit.
