Griffith Ford of Seguin

On Tuesday July 15th 2025 a sales rep named Nick zealously pursued me about my potential interest in a new truck, I told him I wasn’t in the market at this time but he kept on coming so after a few hours of texts and a phone call yesterday evening I thought I’d give him a chance and I told him EXACTLY what I wanted for my trade in. Fast forward to today, I’m on my way from Seguin to Austin sitting in nightmare traffic running late to an appointment that I’m going to have to pay an extra $50 late fee to get my dog who is dying of cancer seen by the oncologist today when I get a text from Nick asking me to come into the dealership in person to go over some numbers, I responded to let him know I was dealing with my dying dog and if I had time later I’d get back to him. After I got back home I asked him to call me so that I could see whether or not it was going to be worth my time to go into the dealership. So when he called, he told me that he was going to be able to get me the amount of money I asked for for my trade-in and what could we do to move forward because his manager wanted to know what the price needed to be out the door for the new truck. I told him that there were some other factors to take into consideration like what the interest rate and monthly payments would be so he said well I’ll send you an application so you can fill one out for credit and we’ll go from there. Two hours later, I still hadn’t heard back from him so I called and just as the person from finance is on the phone with me telling me they’d have someone else get back to me. I got a text from Nick letting me know that he was with a customer, but he was gonna go check and see what the results of the credit application were and that was at 4:27 PM. By 6 PM I still hadn’t heard back from him so I texted again. He finally got back to me and he told me that they didn’t bother to run the credit application because his manager said they weren’t gonna be able to give me what I wanted for my trade-in after he told me I was getting what I wanted. So of course there have been some back-and-forth text messages between myself and Nick after that and I would love to share screen captures of all of them, but I think I’m only going to need to share the one to prove the fact that Nick did tell me that he was gonna get me what I wanted for my trade and then turned around and said he wasn’t going to. Great customer service, addressed all of my question. Very transparent, no hidden surprises. Good experience.

I bought a vehicle and they gave me an IOU yet never honored it. I tried multiple times to reach out to them and was always ignored. Darren and Taylor general and sales manager will only laugh and treat you horrible. Stay away from this dealership. I can not emphasize enough how horrible service they have. They gave me the email yo Chris Griffith and also never got a response.
