Car starting shuddering and I figured it was fuel
Car starting shuddering and I figured it was fuel injectors since the RMP's dropped when it happened. Ask that they also do the 100K tune up. I got two updates and ONLY because I called them. At the three week mark I called and spoke to one of the two Service Mangers. At this point they tell me there are no less then 15 cars in the transmission line in-front of me. Well I wonder how many there were 3 weeks ago? 75? The very next day I get an estimate. $10K! Seems my battery was bad [amazing because it is only 7 months old] My brake fluid is dirty [also amazing because it was changed 7/24 when I had rotors replaced] The torque converter is located inside the transmission [I already knew] so they quoted this, $5.5K and $2.5K more to replace the transmission. [rebuilt I'm sure]. I love my Flex and it isn't going anywhere soon. I guess they thought if they gave me a $10K estimate that this old lady would just pony up the money to buy something new. I done three clutches, timing, rocking arm cover, numerous brake jobs and can change a xxxx tire. I guess they figured since I was a woman I was clueless. We have purchased no less five (5) cars from this dealership and will never go back for anything. I finally got my car back on day 30! Yes they gave me a loaner but I don't like driving a car that isn't mine. I am taking it a transmission specialist to get the converter and transmission rebuild for $3K less and will only take 3 to 4 days, not a month. Watch out for this dealership.

BEST DEALERSHIP
Jeff has been my salesman since he joined the team like 1994. I have purchased several cars/trucks with him. He is super knowledgeable of all the products. Last car I purchased was a 2015 Ford Edge SEL she is all mine. Took her to Quick Lane for all oil changes ext., Have always been a big fan of McRee and Jeff - he rocks.

Bait and Switch
TrueCar advertised a 2018 Ford F-250 At this location. I set an appointment and met the salesman. He showed me the truck and we went back to discuss pricing. One hour into the process I was told “someone else has first right of refusal on this vehicle”. No one else was there, I was ready to purchase the vehicle, but they would not let me. Either a “brother in law deal” or “bait and switch”. I left and purchased a truck at Joe Myers Ford (excellent experience). Three days later, the truck is still being advertised. I will never return to McRee.
