I received excellent service all around!!!!! Steven was a pleasure to work with and extremely helpful and courteous. I will be back in a couple of months to purchase vehicle number three.

Looking to trade an older vehicle in for my daughter who will be going to college in about a year and wanted to get her something a little more fuel efficient. Seen a good price vehicle on the internet and decided to go check it out. Met the sales rep, he was nice, test drove the car and fairly impressed. Normal car buying experience up to the price negotiation with trade-in. I understand that nearly all car buying will result in customers being somewhat taken advantage of, that's part of the game when dealing with dealerships and I fully understand that. I never thought I would see such a blatant display of this right upfront. I did do my research on trade-ins regarding my vehicle and I knew my lowest trade-in value according to KBB so when I was asked what I wanted for trade-in, I replied with a value a little under mid-range to speed up the process. The volley back was... well, a slap in the face, I was told that because they could not resale my vehicle I was going to have to pay them $1000 for a non-resale penalty but they would give me $500 trade-in so I was paying them $500 to take the vehicle plus paying for the new car. All they had to say was they could not take my vehicle for a trade-in... Maybe this tactic is the new norm... I don't think the sales rep was involved in the portion because he disappeared, maybe he felt uncomfortable with this situation as well.

I have bought several vehicles from Lugoff Ford and each time the experience has been exceptional! They are always willing to go above and beyond to see that I am comfortable and confident in what I want and not what I am being pressured into. I would recommend Lugoff Ford to anyone looking for a new or used car.
