ThisThiaThis is probably about the This was the worst car
ThisThiaThis is probably about the This was the worst car buying experience that I have ever had. so we purchased a 2016 Chevy Suburban from Fairway Ford in November of 2024. We test drove the car but unfortunately we didn't notice some of the powertrain/mechanical issues. The car has severe issues with the exhaust which causes a loud and very physical vibration on the car. we took the car back to Fairway Ford to see if there anything could be done, as we did purchase the warranty. they instructed us that they were going to work on it but when we got the car back still continue to have this loud and physical vibration that has continued from November 2024 until present (August 2025). We don't believe they actually worked on the car, and then they gave us some xx about the vibration stopping after driving it for awhile. More than likely, they knew was seriously wrong with the car but sold it anyway instead of putting it up for auction. Also, when the car was supposedly under repair, they got us a rental that was from the jankiest rental car place I've ever witnessed. it was not one of your reputable rental car places like Enterprise or Avis or even budget or dollar rental. it was some unnamed rental place that gave us the extremely old and janky minivan to support our three children that were in booster seats. Due to the child restraint system, we couldn't even use the van. Luckily, we still had our Hyundai Palisade, so we just took the rental back to Fairway (even though we werent compensated). They also sold us the car with a bad battery. they knew the battery was bad but they insisted that it wasn't. It's just a series of things with this place that didnt go well. it was just an overall terrible experience. We also attempted to trade our palisade. Hyundai has a policy that prevents customers from trading leases to anyone but Hyundai, so instead, we tried to sell the car to Dick Smith Hyundai. we were informed that given that it was a lease, dick Smith couldn't purchase it. We informed our saleswoman at Fairway about this, and she offered to call dock smith on our behalf to get an understanding as to why we couldn't sell the lease. Once she got dick smith on the line, however, she lied and said she was my sister and berated the person. she was very aggressive, and I'm afraid she may have gotten someone in trouble over at Dick Smith. This is not what we intended--the salesman over at Dick Smith was just doing his job. I've purchased cars since I was probably 21 years old or so I'm Now 37 and I have probably purchased 7 or 8 cars in my lifetime. this is by far the worst experience i ever had buying a car. You would think this was a sleazy buy here pay here place
