Prices are great but service is not great.
Prices are great but service is not great. I had 2 transmissions go in 2 different Escapes just under 15 months. The first one was going to be a $10k repair, my extended warranty ran out just prior to the break down. I had the car in there many times complaining of shifting issues kept hearing we can't replicate or find anything. The 2nd time was almost a complete duplication of the first experience. I had it in questioning issues to be given can't find anything. We even met with the GM and Service Manager what a joke, smoke blowers. I bought the car around 9/8/22 and on 11/30/23 the transmission and rear differential went. I also complained about a noise in the rear and was told it was my tires, guess it wasn't. The assistant GM helped me the 2nd time, better service regarding a loaner car and working with us on the repair. Ford had to cover this repair. I want to get out of this Escape but they won't take a loss to help. I need to take another loss. If there service department was trustworthy and better I wouldn't be in this situation. That is why we are working with a different car dealership in the area, who is trying to get me out of this Escape.
