I'm serciving my car in Damerow. I'm very satisfied from the service I've got and the alignment on expectation they are doing with me.

I took my vehicle to Damerow for “the works” service and this time I was greeted within 2 minutes. Not bad! I was told this service would take an hour, or an hour and ten minutes at the most. I was finally called at the two hour ten minute mark. I don’t mind the wait but it would be better to under promise and over deliver when it comes to the appointment estimate.

Extremely Disappointed with My Experience at Damerow
Extremely Disappointed with My Experience at Damerow Ford I came into Damerow Ford in May 2025 as a loyal Ford customer, trading in my well-maintained 2018 Explorer for a 2023 model with the belief I was upgrading to a reliable vehicle. What I experienced instead was months of frustration, poor communication, and ongoing mechanical issues that turned a hopeful purchase into a nightmare. From day one, I reported a knocking noise and other cosmetic defects. I was told it was a minor issue—a loose plastic shield—and it would be an easy fix. That "easy fix" turned into more than three months of back-and-forth, multiple service visits, escalating repairs, and what I was later told was a complete front-end replacement. My vehicle spent more time in the shop than in my driveway. Despite my patience and repeated attempts to work through the proper channels, I was met with delays, unreturned calls, unclear updates, and ongoing mechanical failures. Even after finally getting the car back in late September, the knocking noise persisted. I hoped the dealership would do the right thing and offer a fair trade given the circumstances. Instead, I was told I would have to absorb $3,300 in depreciation plus lose the $800 I got for my original trade-in—even though the vehicle’s issues were present from day one and worsened over time. I was offered only $30,500 for a car I barely drove, and only if I agreed to trade that same day. This was not a customer-caused issue. It was a vehicle that should never have been sold in that condition. I’ve now lost over $4,200 due to a misdiagnosed defect that Ford should have caught in its inspection process. While a few individuals did try to help along the way, the dealership as a whole failed to take responsibility. I walked away extremely disappointed, feeling let down by a brand and dealership I once trusted. I sincerely hope no other customer has to go through what I did.
