I hate when people waste my time.
I hate when people waste my time. Real bad. I made an appointment with Nick Mayer Ford East, yesterday for today at 10:45 am. I received 3 confirmation calls to confirm my appointment to test drive a used vehicle. I went into that dealership to purchase said vehicle. I test drove it, sat at the desk to start talking numbers, just for them to tell me it had previously been sold. I test drove someone else’s vehicle with the intention of purchasing it. I was looking at a fully loaded truck, after they told me it was sold they tried to sell me a base model for the same price. I made a 3 hour round trip, 150 miles. This is absolutely ridiculous. They keep telling me they’ll find me another one but what makes them think i’d be willing to make another three hour round-trip there when they just pulled this trick on me. The owner of this dealership should be ashamed and embarrassed of their employees. Not to mention the vehicle has been sold, yet it’s still listed on Cars.com, their website, and autotrader! If you have even the slightest intention of purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, make sure that it’s not sold before you make an appointment and drive an hour and a half.
