Welsh Motors Ford

Bought a used mini van from them. Now I am a fair person and want to believe in people. But when You get screwed, well that's not good. And you would think a dealership that wants to be a quality Business! They would make sure they check what kind of shape there used cars are in! THIS MINI VAN HAS ISSUES. ONE IS STALLS AT ANY GIVEN TIME. THEY HAD IT BACK IN 3 TIMES. NEVER DID FIND THE PROBLEM! AND IT WAS COVERED UNDER A USED CAR WARRANTY! NOW THEY SAY THAT IT TO A DODGE DEALERSHIP. THEY ARE DONE WITH IT, LIKE WHAT! There was an oil leak, transmission. This was found when I got it home and big spot in driveway. NOW ONE WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THEY WOULD SEE THIS IF THEY DID THE FULL CAR INSPECTION, AND HAD ON LIFT .! The cover to the front of transmission was loose and some of bolts and had no Nuts. Again thought they did inspection. Now I have only had this MINI VAN 6 MONTHS! IT HAS A FRONT WINDOW LEAK! LIKE BAD! RUNS DOWN THE DRIVERS FRONT PILLAR UNDER DASH AND ON TO FLOOR. YES HEAD LINER IS GETTING RUINED! NOW AS MUCH AS I HATE TO SAY, THE REAR FENDERS ARE GETTING RUST THROUGH. SO I DID SOME LITE SANDING TO TRY AND TOUCH IT UP, YIKES ITS BEEN ALREADY LOOKED AT, SOME ONE HAD ALL READ COVERED OVER THE RUST HOLES AND JUST BONDO OVER THEM! LIKE xxx. WHAT NEXT? I TOOK THEM FOR THERE WORD. LESSON LEARNED, NEVER EVER TRUST!! !! I ASKED THE MANAGER IF I COULD TRADE IT BACK, YUP AT A HUGE LOSE. THEY DID GIVE ME A LONER CAR, AND TRIED. BUT END OF DAY I AM THE ONE OUT OF A LOT OF MONEY! ALL THEY DID WAS COVERED AND THEY GOT REIMBURSED.

Bought truck with a written contract, gave 500.00 deposit. Because I'm an out of state resident they had to take it over border to PA for inspection. Called said it failed (even though they said it passed Ohio Inspection). Told me it needed new muffler and rear drums and brakes would cost 1500 but they agreed to take 500. I said I'd pay it, when ready to close deal, reluctantly showed me their invoice for the work, only 238. So lied to me about cost for work. Then when I get it home to have the emissions done and inspection, they said the ball joints were bad up front. So now I'm out another 500 dollars. Don't buy from Welsh Motors if you live outside of Ohio,the vehicle will not pass your states inspection. Also be aware of the high fees they charge, supposedly gave me more for my trade then added it to documents fees. Don't listen to excuse that it's a older car with no warranty, this is a dealership, they need to make sure they are selling safe vehicles before they list them for sale.

This was an online sale and the communication between the dealer and me was perfect. They did everthing that i expected. The vehicle and paperwork was ready when i got there, and the vehicle was exactly as it was represented . This was the smoothest car purchase I have ever had. They are an asset to ford motor company.
