BUYERS BEWARE - WORST DEALERSHIP IVE BOUGHT FROM

Reviewed by Randy D from Charleston SCDecember 14, 2021

BUYER'S BEWARE - If I could select ZERO Stars, I would. This FORD dealership is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. I bought a BRAND NEW 21 GT500 for $10,000 over MSRP and the recaro seat on the drivers side has deep scratches in one bolster. I had the car shipped to me and to my surprise the same seat had an explorer plastic over on it so when I checked it out, I didn't see the scratches until the next day when I went to take it for a drive and removed the plastic covering from the drivers seat. Ironically, the only seat that was covered was that one and I thought it was the original seat cover but it was not. It was one from an explorer. Was the dealership hiding something by covering the seat? I will never know. I do know that I paid 10k over MSRP which means the dealership made at least $20k+ on the car in profit and has not offered to help me one bit. I placed 5 calls to the owners of the dealership, left messages on their VM and with the receptionist for them to call me. Not a single call from the owners. I did get a call from the GM (after calling him 2 times) who was a total jerk and came at me like fire when I started to tell him about the problem. He told me it was my problem and that I must have damaged the seat myself. The car had 8 miles on it when I bought it and I asked the salesman Jim Sears to look over the car for me with a tooth and comb and to let me know if there are ANY ISSUES AT ALL with it before I wire cash to them to buy the car. He said the car was perfect and that his PDI guy looked it over really good. Well maybe he forgot to look under the plastic seat cover from a Ford explorer.... Bottom line is DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP of the 3 other ones they own in the area. The owners do not care about their customers (especially any that are out of state and take the word of their "top" salesman as he told me) and the GM was nothing short of a total jerk to me after telling me that he has been in the car business for 40 years and that I was trying to pull one over on him and he was not going to let me do that. Mr. Blake (GM), and My Sears (Salesman), I asked to speak to the owners and never heard back from either of the Nemer brothers. Not a single call from either of them. Mr. Blake, as a GM of a Ford store, its your job to HELP customers, not to accuse them of damaging their own, brand new GT500 with 8 miles on it. Did you try to help me at all? xxxx NO. You were a total jerk and you know it. You yelled at me over the phone before I could even tell you about the issue and then treated me like a complete idiot. If they will do this to me with a 2021 GT500 (the second most expensive Ford makes PLUS 10k MORE than MSRP), what will they do to you with any other car you may be buying from them. BUYER'S BEWARE. I would suggest that you go to any other Ford dealership in the area (OR BEYOND IF NEEDED) that treats people with respect and cares about you and the business that you are doing with them. NEMER FORD does not care about you, your car or any issues you may have had when buying a new car from them. This was the worst dealership experience I have had in the last 30+ years. I regret "trusting" the salesman to tell me that the car was perfect when it was not. You might ask me why didn't you fly up to see the car first, well I should have but I am a trusting person and trusted them to tell me the truth. Mr Nemer, if you want to discuss this issue, please call me. I am sure that Mr. Sears has my number. Mr. Blake, I have no interest in being insulted by you again and do not wish to talk to you ever again. You are not a good representative of Ford Motor Co.
