When I found out that my truck needed a new transmission,
When I found out that my truck needed a new transmission, it didn't make sense to put my money into a vehicle 7 years old truck with over 100,000 miles. The Mastel Ford team acted quickly and found me a truck that exceeded my expectations. Within a few days they found a new truck with my needs, picked it up in Niagara Falls, drove it to Olean and had me in the truck in no time. The paper work was a breeze. Thanks Mastel Ford for treating me as though I was your only customer!

My lincoln MKc needed a second transmission replacement
My lincoln MKc needed a second transmission replacement after only 24000 miles, and I tried to convince them it was a design problem. The anager said he would see what he could do, and after a MONTH of waiting and having to rent a car (only ONE loaner available}, and having wheel bearings replaced on a misdiagnosed steering problem, I went to R&R transmission, who confirmed the transmission diagnosis, and replaced the unit, AND showed me where to look online to get details of this car and transmission problems identified since the car was rated WORST ON THE ROAD in 2015, the first year it was built. The dealer LIED to me, when I asked if the first owner had a transmission replacement and lied on the carfax report about the first unit I had replaced, and after studying the report I am convinced there have been 5 transmissions in this vehicle in 93,000 miles. I am not allowed on their property, and Lincoln corporate has no control over independent dealers. I have also experienced a power steering problem (also well known) that caused the steering to lock up when the mechanic took it for a test drive. That replacement, a used unit because he could not even get a quote for a new one, has caused driver alert warnings, which three experts have not been able to disarm as well as a loss of cruise control. I have reached a dead end with a car that has a warrantee on the transmission for one year, and a transmission with about 20,000 miles life left, constantly blinking and chiming driver alerts and no cruise control. Thanx Mark Suain !!
