The worst experience I've ever had at a dealer.
The worst experience I've ever had at a dealer. It's very unfortunate because I was ready to do a deal. However, we got put with John, and from the get-go go he was over the top pushy and condescending. As soon as I pulled up, he was outside smoking a cigarette, watching me get out of my car, and before I was even out, he yelled to ask who I was working with. Unfortunately, I didn't have a salesperson yet, so he came right over to me as I was attempting to get out of my car. He leaned over me without even asking, so he could take a picture of my mileage, pushing himself between my legs and the dashboard. Immediately, I was uncomfortable. Then he started with financing questions. I was there with my 3 children and both my parents. I made it clear I wasn't wasting time with my kids in tow, and wanted to see the vehicle to ensure it was large enough before any further discussion. He kept asking for my registration and then waved for us to follow him to his desk. Immediately started with the personal finance questions AGAIN, and I AGAIN reminded him I wanted to put eyes on the vehicle first. He would not budge from his desk. This went back and forth until my mother actually had to step in and say flat out, "Bring the car for her to see before she answers your questions like she has asked." He then did, however, as my family was trying to talk and look the vehicle over, he climbed in the front seat and sat there. He tried talking to my kids (8, 11, 14) about their thoughts, being completely pushy and unprofessional. I asked repeatedly to please give us a moment to discuss as a family- he would not leave and just kept spouting out personal questions while we tried to talk. Every question one of my family members asked, he would talk over me, yet he was misinformed on all his responses. I commented to my parents about how there was no navigation, and similar vehicles for less money have navigation. He then told me that not all cars have navigation and kept speaking over me, saying that everyone just uses Apple Maps. I pointed out how not everyone has Apple Maps, but he was adamant that most cars do not offer navigation. Navigation isn't a deal breaker for me at all, but he was so condescending about it. As much as it was 150% awkward, rude, and uncomfortable, I decided to go in and attempt to make the purchase. He took my keys and said he gave them to his manager to assess the trade-in value. I didn't think he could be more pushy and unprofessional, but he was. He kept pumping me for information, and I said flat out, I'm not giving you any information until I know the trade-in value. He would not stop. He was pushy and, quite frankly, talked to me and my mother like we knew nothing because we are women. He then kept asking about my credit score. I told him it was fine and I'd discuss that later. He goes Oh, good, then you have a 900? I said there is no 900 credit score, that would be a FICO score, but he assured me I was incorrect and he sees 900 credit scores, and if mine is decent, it must be 900. My mother told him to stop being so rude and harassing us because she works in finance, and both of us have purchased multiple cars. He kept badgering both of us repeatedly in such an unprofessional way, we got up to leave. We asked where the keys were, and he handed them to us! So the entire time he claimed the manager was out there assessing the car while he badgered us, it wasn't even true! He had the keys that he supposedly went to give his manager about 20 minutes prior! Never have I ever been treated like this, and the fact that he was treating my elderly mother like that as well is absolutely disgusting. Since I walked out, he has been calling and texting, and not one apology, just more nonsense he spewed while we were there; I actually had to block his numbers. I would never step foot in a dealership where he is present again.

8/21/2025.
8/21/2025. I entered the dealership and was met at the door and connected with Anthony the sales representative. My challenge to Anthony was I purchased a car three weeks earlier in under two hours, and I wanted to be in and driving away with a New F350 that Saturday at 2 pm in under 3 hours. Anthony started the timer on his cell phone. Anthony showed me four F350 and covered the details of each indepth and focused on my needs as a buyer. During the process, Anthony shared his prior military service with me. I was dealing with a fellow veteran. With Anthony’s help, I decided which F350 was right for me….in 43 minutes according to Anthony’s phone. We quickly agreed on a price and began the paperwork prep process which took 75 min. We finalized documentation while the vehicle was gassed and prepped. Anthony surrender the keys to me after pulling my new ride up to the front door, washed and warming up. I passed along my appreciation to Anthony and the Sales Manager for the prompt, courteous and streamlined service they provided over the past 2:40 h. Anthony at McFarland Ford in Exeter NH, Thank you again for a great buying experience and helping me locate the 2025 F350 that left the factory with my name on it!

Justin Sullivan is the best.
Justin Sullivan is the best. He made sure we had all the info we needed to make decisions on repairs. The work was professional and he was very courteous. They arranged the pick up and delivery at no additional cost to us. I will use him again.
