How to start. I called in and it started off with the sales person covering the phone asking someone hey is that the one that.... then the phone muffled. I was sent pictures which I am fine with and can repair the rust issue on the King ranch. However I asked for more photos do to the fact I am not local to the dealership. I did not get a message back until the next day after I had received a message from another salesperson at the dealership that offered a deal via email. After that I received a message that ignored my request and said the vehicle was sold at asking price. It was never sold and or potentially sold. it was not a case of miscommunication
Terrible experience. I don't know where to start.

I came to Marshall Ford with an interest in a used GT350 that was on their showroom floor. I walked inside and around the GT350 what seemed to be like laps without any acknowledgement or greetings from any staff there. Being respectful I have not touched the car yet. A sales rep came by and I manage to get his attention and ask if I may take a seat inside. He allows it and mentioned it should be open. But it was not open. The sales rep proceed to go to a desk / stall in the corner, 4 - 5feet away from the GT350 and begins talking with another person. After their conversation I mentioned that the doors are locked and ask him if he can get the keys to unlock the car. He turns to the other person in the corner and ask him if i can sit in the car. All I hear from this person in the corner was "NO" and quickly after that a snarky "Good bye". I left quickly embarrassed and quite angry, I have never been treated this way. A dealer I bought my e92 BMW M3 in Smyrna, Delaware through emails, phone calls and text messages were more helpful.
This gentleman I later found out after coming back composed was Joe Sterner the preowned Sales MANAGER. Can you believe that? I thought they were in the business of selling cars.
The second visit not 10 minutes after the disastrous first was oh so different. I came back to give instant feedback on my experience and quickly the non accessible USED GT350 became accessible. Joe whipped out the keys in a heartbeat and gave some BS reason why they don't allow you to sit in the car. Something about items in the passenger seat that's still wrapped in plastic?? I denied, and any interest in this dealership, the GT350, FORD as a brand was soured. No thanks. I'll take my money and buy the appreciating S2000 CR.
Back for the Sixth Time!

The fact the this purchase was my sixth one at Marshall's should speak volumes about my confidence in and appreciation for this dealer. In this instance, from working with Jim Parisi - Pre-owned Sales - to Jimmy Marshall - Finance, it was a wonderful experience. Over the years Jim Hollenbach and the rest of the Service Department staff have been outstanding whether it was a visit for maintenance or repair work, always explaining what needed to be done and the costs without any hard sale or coercion. Just like with the buying experience every single time, after the options were outlined, the final decision was always left to me. With all these positives, I will continue to return to Marshall to purchase vehicles and have my cars serviced for many years to come. Thanks guys!!!
