Scathing Review of Conway Heaton Ford - Bardstown, KY:
Scathing Review of Conway Heaton Ford - Bardstown, KY: Disappointing, Dishonest, and Rude Vehicle Interest: 2026 Ford Bronco Badlands (Custom Build Order) I scheduled an appointment with Conway Heaton Ford to discuss ordering a custom 2026 Ford Bronco Badlands after building the exact specifications we wanted on the Ford site. We arrived prepared and serious about making a purchase, but the experience was nothing short of a disgrace to the Ford brand. Initial Impressions & Test Drive: We were met by a new sales representative who, despite a firm handshake, was poorly dressed and looked like he was still in high school—a general lack of professionalism that set the tone. During the test drive of a 2025 Badlands, the focus was oddly placed. The representative repeatedly interrupted the experience to talk about the stereo system and played music we explicitly disliked, making the test drive uncomfortable rather than informative. Dealership Environment & Service Attitude: Upon returning, we observed another sales representative openly slouched over his desk watching movies, demonstrating a complete lack of concern for customer presence or professional appearance. When I asked to see the service department, citing service as a crucial factor in our purchasing decision, the sales rep questioned why we would want to see it—a startling display of dismissiveness toward a fundamental aspect of car ownership. The Negotiation—Rude and Dishonest: The negotiation process was where the experience truly collapsed. Despite the fact we were inquiring about a future 2026 model, the sales rep aggressively pushed us to buy a 2025 model and would not accept "no" for an answer. We came prepared with the MSRP and documented invoice prices from two other reputable Ford dealerships. The rep's initial offer was full MSRP. When we presented our competing quotes, the Sales Manager was brought over. Without any attempt to negotiate or show professional courtesy, the manager immediately stated he could not match the invoice prices and rudely walked away. The back-and-forth continued until the sales rep returned and threw the final offer printout onto the desk—listing only the full MSRP again. When asked to clarify the price, he stated, "Full MSRP." The Sales Manager then returned and resorted to outright lies, claiming that he "cannot see invoice prices" for 2026 models because they won't be produced until January 2026. He insisted that if we wanted to order, we would have to pay full MSRP. This is verifiably false and a terrible attempt to justify charging full sticker price. Conclusion: We declined their offer and left, never to return. Both the sales representative and the Sales Manager became noticeably rude and dismissive the moment we said "no thanks." This dealership's management is rude, their negotiation tactics are dishonest, and their sales team lacks basic professional polish. I strongly recommend prospective buyers avoid Conway Heaton Ford. There are a multitude of ethical, reputable Ford dealerships all over Kentucky that prioritize customer experience over misleading practices. This dealership is a disgrace to the Ford brand.

Drove an hour only to find out the price of the vehicle
Drove an hour only to find out the price of the vehicle was $3,500 above the listed price. I talked to the salesman prior to coming and none of this was mentioned. I was then asked to make them an offer as they were not going to honor their price posted. Very disappointed, as I wasted 2 hours out of my day.
