I purchased a Chevrolet suburban from the steeler ship.

Reviewed by Kim from Chloe West Virginia March 31, 2025

I purchased a Chevrolet suburban from the steeler ship. The vehicle is full of rust underneath which was not disclosed during the conversation of the purchase. There's rust all around the wheel wells which I ask for pictures Of the vehicle because they had the passenger side up against the wall. When I spoke to Mr. Todd the salesman he now has abnesia. He does not know about the rust or why the vehicle has a lot of rust he doesn't know why to hatch of the vehicle does not work he doesn't know anything. I have requested for them to help mitigate these issues his response at this time I will see what I can do. Online buyers beware.

Greg Stockdale is a champion! He volunteers his time and talents freely in the community! He is awesome! I bought a 2013 F150 that I love! Also, when my daughter's vehicle was totaled in an accident, he helped us get back on the road! Thanks so much! I appreciate you!

Bought a truck and has been nothing but trouble.

Reviewed by Tim from Clarksville May 07, 2024

Bought a truck and has been nothing but trouble. I figured buying a ford from a ford dealer things would have been checked out. I was totally wrong. First couple days out noticed it leaking radiator fluid needed o ring that was 200 bucks then my kids rode with me and asked what the noise was I took in and needed rear differential rebuilt 1400 there then got back and still heard noise and took back and needed a new iwe on drivers side even though I put a new check valve on thinking that fixed it. Well I was told it’s a great truck drive anywhere. I decided to drive it 25 miles away well going 55 down road the passenger side locked up or something. And almost went off road pulled over called daughter to come and I started it back up and it was ok she followed me home. Took back in and the unhooked vacuum lines now my front tires turn all the time with front differential called and asked how that resolved problem. Still hear noise took back had service tech ride and drive he told me he heard something to and was gonna put it up on lift. Well they put it up and rear parking brake was locked up. They needed to keep it overnight I asked them to check front differential and transfer case for fluid which I was already told they did. But I was loosing trust at this point. So I watched from window and seen him put at least 2 quarts in one or the other. When I got it back my son drove with me and I asked him do you hear that and he said I do I knew I could still hear it. Also strange when service receipt says test drove several times but in and out odometer is identical. Sales dept taking a trade in must not have looked truck over or they did and just didn’t care. I even offered to sell back taking a loss but no. I don’t trust this truck to drive anywhere I don’t feel safe in it. As I was looking for a truck most reputable lots offer 3 month 3000 mile warranty or 5 day like it or return it. Something anyway but not roling. But my fault trusting them. I was offered a warranty when I purchased but was 4000 I couldn’t afford that being retired and on a budget and I put 13000 down of my own money just to make payment affordable. But also thought it be aways down the road before I would need anything. I should have bought a Chevy truck and from a Chevy dealer that stands by there vehicles. I still hear noise from engine. They either never checked over truck with trade in or did check it over and needed some future service work. So if your buying a used vehicle BEWARE of this place worst experience I ever had buying a vehicle. Even if they would have given me some sort of 2 yr warranty or something to satisfy for all I’ve gone through. Within 2 weeks or so I had already put almost 2000 in it for repairs. I will probably trade this off or sell outright and take a loss. I have lived in this area all my life and will let people know what happened and hope no one else goes through this. Thanks roling ford.
