Jensen Ford Lincoln began as a partnership in 1967 between Dwight Burkhart and Bob Jensen. After purchasing the dealership from Fred Mount Motors, a new building was constructed on the current site at 2805 South Center Street. Bob Jensen became sole owner in 1977 and brought his sons into the business. After Bob's retirement in 1992, Kevin and Kendall took over full operation of the business. Kevin began his automotive career while still in High School working in the Service Department. He had many part-time duties including cleaning-up the shop area and driving the Courtesy Vehicle. After graduating in 1975 from Northwood University in Cedar Hill, Texas, he became a full-time employee.
