Brought vehicle here for service for an oil change -- an old 06 focus. They finished it but gave me back my car and it was filthy! Grease was all over the steering wheel, door, and door handle and gear shifter. I bought this vehicle here years ago, by the way. Mind you, the vehicle is a 2006 and isn't brand new, but I at least expected to get my car back in the same, unvacuumed, undetailed condition I gave it to them in. That's too much to ask for Sexton Ford, I guess. Can't believe someone OK'd giving a customer their car back in that condition. Granted, it gave me a reason to detail and clean my car, but I should NEVER have received my car back like that. Unacceptable. I don't recommend this dealer at all because of a blatant lack of care and respect for your vehicle. They should treat all of their customer's vehicles like they are their own. But, if you want a greasy, dirty car back when you get an oil change done, be my guest. Shameful. I know I have an old car, but that doesn't mean to get to treat it like dirt and give it back to me like that.

When I was looking for a new vehicle several year’s ago I stopped by Sexton Ford to check on what they had. An awesome person and salesman Andy Rhoades came out and we had a very nice and informative conversation about what I was looking for. Took a truck for a test drive and after a little conversation with Andy and my wife decided that this was what I needed. So glad that I stopped and bought that vehicle from them . The experience with Andy and their service department was WAY above what I expected that we have purchased several vehicles from Andy and Sexton Ford. Thank you Andy for your professionalism in all of our dealings. It will always be remembered!!!!

Sexton Ford's story began with its original owner, Bill Sexton, who established the store in downtown Moline. In the late 1960s, Al Pellegrini came to the Quad-Cities and took over the dealership. By 1971, Sexton Ford had moved to its current location at 3802 16th Street in Moline. Part of Al Pellegrini's grand vision was to develop the South Park area into an auto plaza, with competing dealerships centralized in one area. To achieve this, he purchased nearby swamp land, which is now known as the South Park Auto Plaza, currently housing three dealerships. The family business continued to thrive as Al's sons joined him in running the dealership. In 1980, Randy Pellegrini became the new owner of Sexton Ford, joined by his brother Gary. Randy led the dealership until his death in 2021. Under Randy's leadership, Sexton Ford became known for its welcoming atmosphere, where everyone was treated like family. Randy's positive attitude, infectious belly laughs, and genuine friendship left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Today, Randy's son Vince Pellegrini operates Sexton Ford, continuing the family legacy. The dealership remains dedicated to the values instilled by Randy, ensuring that every customer experiences the warmth and camaraderie that has defined Sexton Ford for decades.
