Lou Fusz Ford of Highland

Just took my truck in for an electrical issue with the fuse box which I had already found the TSB pertaining to it. Did not mind paying the $180 service diagnostic fee but was told that BOTH of my truck’s batteries tested bad (have pw stating this also) and needed to be replaced. I questioned them about this as I had just replaced 1 battery (2 Mo ago) and had other battery checked at same time. Was told no both are bad. Started up my truck on the bad batteries and drove straight to NAPA (where I bought battery) and had them test both…ZERO ISSUES!!! Faulty test equipment, untrained tech, scam to sell me batteries???? It’s anyone’s guess but if I can’t trust a dealership to be able to give me straight answer on testing a battery I can trust to actually work and diagnose my truck. Never going there again.

Most uncaring, untrustworty, untruthful, and incompetent service department I have ever delt with. Beware, if you are truthful about the service department the manager, Adam, will shun you, for he cannot take criticism. Along with my family, and being loyal customers of this dealership for 20 plus years (prior to Lou Fusz taking over) this has been nothing short of sheer disappointment. Beware of the service department and make sure they are completing what you pay for. Also if they promise they are going to do something at a later date, get it in writing. There are plenty of trustworthy dealers, with competent service departments. I suggest you look past Lou Fusz in Highland for service. Due to the issues and quite frankly, service manager Adam's attitude, family wide we have purchased 4 new or used vehicles from another dealership and currently have had great success..
