Purchased a 2023 Nissan Frontier SV.
Purchased a 2023 Nissan Frontier SV. Thought the muffler was a little loud but figured I get a new muffler when I got home. Surprise there was NO muffler at all. the pipes had been cut off with some backyard flex pipe placed where the muffler had been. Contacted the sales manager (Bill Cox). He was greatly concerned and did NOTHING. After 3 attempts to get a response he just quit answering my text messages. Next problem, I still haven't received the registration or license plate after a month of waiting. Text messaged Shelby and got a polite text response that a staff member would contact me tomorrow. That was a week ago - no response. Two more attempts to contact Shelby with polite responses but NO action and now she won't respond to my text messages. Overall, as I have lived in several states and bought cars/trucks all over the USA I have to say the Stivers Ford South is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with during a simple purchase of a vehicle.

I am writing this review to share my experience
I am writing this review to share my experience purchasing a brand-new 2025 Ford F-150 Lariat from Stivers Ford South Fayetteville. Unfortunately, the overall process was far from what I expected from a Ford dealership. I completed the full purchase, signed all documents, and arranged vehicle delivery from the dealership to my location. I was given access to the Ford app, which allowed me to track the truck’s location. Since the transporter was supposed to pick up the vehicle within a few days, I was simply waiting. The next day, I noticed in the app that the truck was moving. When the vehicle traveled more than 100 miles away from the dealership, I called to ask what was happening. The dealership could not explain and said they would look into it. Two to three hours later, they called back and informed me that this was a “mistake” — someone allegedly did not know the truck had already been sold and used it for personal errands. As a result, the mileage increased from 45 miles to 265 miles on a vehicle sold to me as new. The dealership refused to provide any meaningful compensation, stating that the truck was already sold at a good price and they had no margin to compensate me. The only thing offered was floor mats, which is not an acceptable resolution for a 220-mile unauthorized use of a new vehicle. The issues continued. When the transporter arrived the next day, he pointed out two dents on the hood. The dealership claimed these dents came from the factory and were a manufacturing defect. The vehicle had to stay another day for repairs, and transportation had to be rescheduled. Shortly after that, the dealership called again to inform me that they had lost one of the truck’s keys and would need to make a duplicate. I still do not understand why this happened or what response they expected from me as the buyer. While waiting for delivery, I also noticed that my FordPass Points were not being credited. I later realized that during signing, a document was included in a large stack of paperwork where I unknowingly agreed to use all my FordPass Points toward premium maintenance — a service I had already purchased separately for $1,800. After contacting the dealership, they admitted I should have been informed and promised to return the points. As of now, I have still not received them. Finally, after the truck was delivered, I discovered scratches on the front passenger door. These scratches were documented with photos on the Bill of Lading at pickup, yet the dealership never informed me and chose not to disclose this damage. This was my first experience purchasing a Ford vehicle, and I expected a smooth, transparent, and professional process. Unfortunately, it was the opposite. My goal in writing this review is not to be emotional, but to warn other buyers so they can avoid unnecessary stress and disappointment. I strongly believe that a dealership selling new vehicles must take full responsibility for honesty, communication, and customer trust — all of which were lacking in this experience.
