Shopped these guys yesterday via the internet for a used 2018 Transit Connect listed on CarFax for $17,493. I asked the online agent if there are any additional charges? The reply was a $998 dealer fee. OK, please send me an invoice for the unit. The final price was $ 22,029.97
The $998 was actually an down payment addition to the price here's a breakdown of the pricing from these clowns.
$ 998 Additional Down or Trade
$625 Recon Fee
$999 Dealer Doc Fee
$873 Sales Tax- There is no sales tax in Delaware
$612 Non Tax fees
$249 Zurich Shield
After looking at the quote, and $4,536.97 in upcharges, I had to take a shower to wash off the slime from these sleeze xxxxx. Congratulations Grieco Ford, you are everything we have learned to expect from a car dealer.

Let us just say I was very disappointed with the customer service! Before I even stepped into the Grieco Ford dealership on Friday, May 1, I let the sales person know that I never purchase a vehicle on my first visit. I told them I would be in that afternoon and even let the sales person know I would call before I came in. When I called on Friday, they told me my salesperson was busy with another customer and that I would get a call back; unfortunately, I never received that call back, not from the salesperson nor any other member of the Greico sales team. When I arrived, I called again because of the current Covid-19 epidemic and I was unsure of their rules. The person who answered the phone told me that the person I initially spoke with was out to lunch, but they had someone who would be happy to work with me. I previously requested to see two vehicles and was reassured that they would have them ready for me to check out and test drive--only one vehicle was available. Now, I understand that another customer could have been test-driving the other vehicle. I’m a rational, understanding guy, but no, Vehicle #2 was at a totally different lot--it physically wasn’t even on their premises. I was then offered to be taken to the other dealership to see vehicle #2. During the midst of a global pandemic, I’ll pass on the car ride with a stranger for now. After the test drive (the sales person rode in the vehicle with me during the pandemic) we talked numbers. Initially, like most people who want to sell you a vehicle the person was generally nice. We went through the numbers, and I disclosed I had an X-plan and a trade. We talked trade value, money down, and financing. The sales person presented me with three sets of numbers and we began discussing options. This is when I began to notice a bit of a condescending tone when I misread the length of the financing. Afterward, we briefly talked and the sales person said S/he would call me on Monday but instead text me on Tuesday. I initially said the vehicle was slightly outside my range, and text the price point I wanted to be. It is at this point that the unprofessional text began and it all centered around a miscommunication. I emphasized the amount I wanted to finance after money down/discounts and s/he took it as the overall market price for the truck. The sales person then went on to demean my knowledge, assert their “superior knowledge”, and that I was a fool if I thought I could get the vehicle for that price. I tried to clarify again, and brought up the financed price after the rebates and deals. I even took a picture of one of the financed prices offered to me on Friday; and it was actually less than the amount I had asked, but I was simply looking for a better interest rate or more money on my trade. The sales person continued to send text messages even after I told them there was a clear miscommunication, I thought s/he was being unprofessional, and I would move on to another dealership. Finally, after a few more texts I decided to call the sales manager. On a positive note the sales manager was nice and understood, but the salesperson still continued to send unprofessional texts after I had spoken with the manager. In conclusion, let me reference the fact I rarely write reviews, and those cases involve really good service or really bad service. You can guess which one this falls under. I am sure there are some really great hard working folks who work at Grieco and this was just my experience with one person.
Grieco Fort lauderdale lie to you.
