Uptown Ford of Oakland

I called 3 times about a vehicle and never received the information. Disappointed to say the least.

Terrible customer service and breach of contract to provide us with the necessary paperwork to register our vehicle that we purchased from them within a reasonable timeframe. We purchased our car in July and we are still waiting (for 5 months now) on this dealership to provide us with the registration and tags. The temporary tags that we have on our car have since expired in October. Legally we should not be driving the car anymore as we do not have valid registration. But we also have a newborn baby that needs to go to their many doctor’s appointments. We have tried repeatedly to call the dealership to get them to move forward with providing us the registration and tags. First with Marcus, then Mason and then numerous other people who have only provided us with lip service, saying that our registration paperwork would be expedited, etc. Additionally, it turned out that the dealership forgot to perform a smog check, which is why they were not able to get the car registered initially. So we have had to go out of our way and pay with our own money to get a smog check performed, which we have also have yet to be reimbursed for. It is absolutely ridiculous that we have had to wait this long so far with still no registration or tags. All the while having to perform a smog check and repeatedly call this dealership to get them to do their job for a car that we purchased from them. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Please be aware!
