Do not walk, run.

Reviewed by Dayton from IdahoNovember 10, 2025

Do not walk, run. This dealership engages in the worst kind of "bait and switch" pricing, luring you in with an attractive advertised price only to present you with a quote sheet full of shell games, hidden fees, and lowball trade-in offers. My experience was a multi-day, frustrating ordeal. What could have been a simple, straightforward query to confirm a price over a single email became numerous, time-wasting contacts. This inefficient process was all a setup for the final, deceptive quote sheet. Here is their entire scam, broken down by the numbers: The Bait: I was drawn in by an advertised price of $40,766 for a 2025 Ford Ranger. The Switch (Part 1): The Price Shell Game The quote sheet they sent me looks like a great deal at first, showing an "Adjusted Selling Price" of $38,766. But this is a lie. They immediately add back $2,875.00 in "Accessories" (forced, high-profit add-ons I never asked for). This makes the actual price of the truck $41,641.00 ($38,766 + $2,875). Let's be clear: their "deal" price for the truck is $875 MORE than the price they advertised to get me in the door. This is the definition of a bait and switch. The Switch (Part 2): The "Packed Deal" on the Trade-In To fund their massive, fake "$12,974.00 Savings," they play a shell game with your trade-in. They offered me $10,000.00 for my 2020 Ford Escape. This is a laughably low offer, as I have a confirmed written offer from CarMax for $15,000 and other dealers are at $14,000. They are deliberately undervaluing my trade-in by $4,000-$5,000 and hiding that profit to make their "Savings" number look bigger. Conclusion: This dealership operates in bad faith. They are not just deceptive; they are also disorganized and disrespectful of your time. They will lure you in with a fake price, waste your time with numerous contacts, and then try to claw back all their "discounts" by forcing accessories on you and lowballing your trade. Avoid North Country Ford at all costs.
