Great styling, great perfomance, great quality. This car is a traditional two seat roadster. There is nothing like it out there when you get on a winding country road.

A smile a minute, whenever I'm in it! That would be a fair summation of what the majority of 124 Spider owners would say about this wonderful vehicle. For background, we have owned our Spider for 13 months now and have slightly over 13,000 trouble-free miles on it. The 124 is made by Mazda in the same factory that produces the MX-5. FIAT provides the engine, the suspension tune, and the exterior styling, making this car a beautiful combination of Japanese reliability and sexy Italian styling. The cars.com short take states wind noise is an issue but it is a convertible - what do you expect? They fail to note, however, that the 124 has more noise dampening than the MX-5, thus has less road/wind noise than a MX-5. We use our car as a daily driver and to sport about when not commuting. It is a blast to own and gets more comments than any car I have previously owned. People love it! Based on comments from multiple taller club members, if you are 6'3" or under, you can fit in the cockpit. Less than 6'1" or so, you won't feel cramped. I am 5'11" and have to push the seat forward several clicks to reach the pedals comfortably; so while the Spider is smallish overall, there is more legroom than one might think. If you are looking for an affordable, reliable roadster that is insanely fun to drive and fits right in with much higher priced vehicles, check out the 124!
