Have been a loyal Palmen customer for over 20 years. I visited the dealership, and sat down with my salesman, after determining which specific model I wanted, we negotiated a price and picked up the car a few days later.

Drove over an hour with serious intent to buy, but the experience was frustrating. Not sure why but despite repeatedly asking for the out-the-door price for Illinois, I never received a clear breakdown. Instead, I was shown confusing payment options with high payments and a surprise $657 accessories fee, without clearly listing the vehicle price, my down payment, IL tax/title, and doc fee. He just casually mentioned their doc fee was $499. Hard to make a deal when you don’t even know the real price of the car. Plenty of better, more transparent options out there.
