⚠️ WARNING ABOUT WARRANTY WORK AT THIS DEALERSHIP ⚠️ Use extreme caution when dealing with this dealership’s service department—especially for warranty or recall repairs. We brought two vehicles here for warranty work and have had nothing but problems. What should have been straightforward warranty repairs have now turned into a situation that may require legal action. Our Ram ProMaster van was taken in for warranty work on the torque converter. The dealership replaced it along with a few related components and returned the van to us. Less than 1,000 miles later, the transmission warning light came back on. We immediately returned the van to the same dealership. At that point, they told us the vehicle suddenly “needs a whole new transmission”—but now they are refusing to cover the repair under warranty. They are claiming the failure is due to a manual overheat code that they say is showing in their system. However, this code does not appear on our own diagnostic equipment, which runs continuously. It strongly appears this “code” is being used to deny coverage for a failure that is directly related to the part they just replaced. The van is now stuck in first gear and is essentially undriveable, and instead of standing behind their work, they are attempting to place blame on the customer. To make matters worse, this is already the second transmission this vehicle has had—the first was replaced at around 3,000 miles during COVID, and we later learned it was a used (junkyard) transmission, not a new one. At this point, we have lost all confidence in this dealership’s service department. If you are considering bringing your vehicle here for warranty work, be extremely careful, document everything, and be prepared to fight for coverage that should already be yours. We strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value transparency, accountability, and having warranty work done correctly.

I am sorry for the troubles you are experiencing with your Van. We, at the dealership level, do not approve or decline Warranty repairs. Warranty repairs are approved or declined by the manufacturer of the vehicle, which is what has happened in this instance. We understand how frustrating that is, but we have to follow by their guidelines and they have deemed this to be a non-warrantable repair. Its also worth noting that we did not replace your transmission when it failed at 3,000 miles. That was a dealership in another state.

Service on my vehicle has been poor. Time of repair on average for my vehicle has been 15 days. It appears that your team cannot service my vehicle in a timely manner and creates a large inconvenience along with the primary vehicle failure. I am not very confident in the team's ability to effectively service my vehicle and the ability for the center to get the parts to complete the work adds to delays and dissatisfaction.
