Fayetteville Dodge Ram

What do you look for in a quality Dodge dealership service department? One that is quick, efficient, gets things done the first time? If so, then Fayetteville Dodge Ram is NOT the place for you. I had my vehicle towed in on a Monday and didn’t get it back until Saturday afternoon. It required a new battery, alternator, radiator and a few other things. I left very early on Sunday morning and headed south on I-95. It seemed like all was well… until Tuesday morning the battery light came on and my car wouldn’t start again after I shut it off to get gas. I was able to push it to a location where a tow truck could pick it up and tow it. They brought it to another Dodge dealership, where they had it for 2 days trying to figure out why the electrical system (alternator and battery) was failing. Turns out that a ground from the alternator wasn’t connected and wasn’t charging properly. That cost me $265 to have them figure it out. I paid it and sent the invoice to someone at Fayetteville Dodge Ram, believing that I’m fully within my right to have them reimburse me for something they failed to do. That hasn’t happened and I don’t believe it will. So, if you want something like that to happen to you, then THIS is the place for you. The only reason why I gave two stars is because one of the service managers kept me informed and does read emails… although he doesn’t respond via email.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 60 plus years on this earth! Dropped my truck off, then spent four hours the next day trying to reach someone, ANYONE in their service department. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! Left several messages. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK! I eventually called their sales department. Lo and behold, a salesman answered after the first ring. I explained my situation, and he promised to have their service manager call me back. NEVER CALLED! I finally got a hold of someone toward the end of the day. This person told me that the service manager would call me back the following day before noon. The following day noon came and went. NO CALL! So I spent another three hours trying to speak to someone in their service department. AGAIN NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE! I tried other numbers: talked to a receptionist, spoke to a couple more salesman. All of which promised to have someone in the service department give me a call. NEVER DID! I eventually gave up, went to the dealership and took my truck back from them. When I got there, I discovered at least one reason why I wasn't receiving callbacks. The one so called service advisor I found at his desk barely paid me any attention, because he was busy talking on the phone to his girlfriend and recording music videos with his phone to send to her. Worst of all, they didn't fix my truck, and I still had to pay these people $800! Its the last penny Dodge will ever see from me, which is a shame, because I have always liked their trucks. Shame on this particular dealership for ruining it for me and putting a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to Dodge.
