Known defect yet still sold.

We purchased a 2023 Grand Jeep Cherokee, from out of state. After putting a deposit down the vehicle stayed listed for sale with a price drop. Subsequently I learned from sales their was an issue with the vehicle and engine light was on. Although I was advised it would be taken care of it was delivered to me with engine light on as well as tire pressure sensors inop, all of them. In addition, no vehicle manuals with the car, later I was advised to read it off the stereo? I take this vehicle the next day to their sister location in Florida, after 5 days I learn it needs a new catalytic converter, a 2023 Jeep with 10k miles on it??! In addition, we don't know when the part comes in saying it will be 48 to 72 hours before they know when the part is even available. In conclusion, we were sold a 59k 2023 vehicle with known issues. We have not even driven this vehicle yet except to the shop! I would NOT recommend this dealership and will make it a point to advise on every social platform I can.

Big Shout Out to Scotty Franks and his staff! This group of individuals at Fitzgerald’s Dodge in Lexington Park, MD are the absolute best. Mr. Franks is very up front about the vehicles issues that need to be addressed and will give you an approximate time of how long it should take to fix the issue. All the maintenance on my vehicle has resolved in a timely manner, and I was always aware of the status of my vehicle, whether an oil change or a total brake job. I am on my own, so I decided to wait for my vehicle when I needed the brakes done. Mr. Franks explained the approximate length of time the job would take, a couple of hours, I was okay with that. They offered me the shuttle services at any time I might need them. They were all exceedingly kind and attentive, it made me feel appreciated and that they cared about my time and comfort. Mr. Franks made it a point to make sure I was aware of what stage my vehicle was in every hour, on the hour. I know, I was not his only customer, but he made me feel that way. Every time I take my car in for maintenance no matter minor, they always make sure they return the car to me looking like it just came off the show room floor. Heck, it looked better than the day I bought it. They made the wheels shine! It made me smile.
