Absolutely Dishonest and a Complete Waste of Time – Avoid Boardwalk Chrysler Jeep at All Costs If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Boardwalk Chrysler Jeep was one of the most unprofessional and deceptive encounters I’ve ever had with any dealership. I originally contacted them for a lease quote on a 2025 Wagoneer S. After some back-and-forth, they quoted me a number that was significantly higher than other dealerships I had spoken with. So I decided to move forward with a better offer from another dealer. The day I was going to sign elsewhere, I received a voicemail from Boardwalk saying they had a new finance manager and could now offer a better deal. I called back and told them I was already planning to sign with someone else. They asked for my numbers, and after I shared them, they quickly came back and beat that deal. After some deliberation, I agreed to go with them. I completed their credit application in advance, submitted driver’s licenses, insurance, and spent multiple conversations finalizing everything. I was clear I would be at the dealership at 2 PM, and even when I called to let them know I was running 20 minutes late, they said that was no problem. When we arrived, my wife and I were shown the car and took a short test drive around the dealership with Alex, the person who had been handling the entire deal with me from the beginning. Everything was set, we were literally sitting in his office ready to sign paperwork. And then suddenly — “I have bad news.” Alex says they can’t sell us the car because it only has 40 miles on it and they need to put 500 miles on it first. Are you kidding me? After days of back-and-forth, credit checks, and confirming our visit, they drop this on us at the very last moment? This was blatantly dishonest, misleading, and an outrageous bait-and-switch. Why even let us come in? Why show us the car? Why run our credit and take all our information if you were never going to sell it? We walked out immediately. I will never do business with Boardwalk Chrysler Jeep again and I strongly urge anyone reading this to avoid them entirely. There are plenty of honest dealerships out there that will treat your time and trust with respect — this is not one of them.
