I bought a brand new ram from here in 2019.

Reviewed by cjfields75November 09, 2025

I bought a brand new ram from here in 2019. Recently I took it in after I replaced coils and plugs because of a misfire. They said they’d do diagnostics for $200. And erase codes. Since there’s a security gateway on my truck so I can’t just erase codes. They call to tell me about the misfire and the tech is ready to swap out the coil, plugs, and injector. Their scanners/programmers can tell you all this info without replacing parts. Their scanners way we had to do it before scanners. Yet. They say that’s not how it goes and need to replace parts. Which is a total lie. This was 2 weeks ago. This week I order a throttle pedal sensor thro them they said it’ll be in tomorrow. I called in to see if it’s ready for pickup and the parts person tells me that if I’m changing the throttle pedal sensor I ALSO have to change the brake booster too. Which is another total lie. They do unnecessary work and tell people they need unnecessary parts just to scam people out of money. This place is nothing but scamming lying cheats. I’ll never go back. Or recommend anyone to go there. And to the dealership. When you lie like you do maybe try to get all the other dealerships to tell the same lie as you!!!!!! Cause other dealerships busted your lies trying to scam people out of money. You need to be sued.

I traded in 2 vehicles for one and yes I did have

Reviewed by Shasta51093October 21, 2025

I traded in 2 vehicles for one and yes I did have negative equity but was pushed into a truck I really didnt want. Needed a truck to haul and first noticed there was no brake control and was told can put one in (not knowing you can't put an aftermarket brake control in these new rams) so I thought no big deal( because I thought I could use a $30 aftermarket. WRONG). Did research on the engine while there and decided to go ahead even though my gut was telling me to walk. Take the truck home and it does not work with any trailers I hooked it up to. No lights on any trailers will work. Took it to a shop and replaced the plug. Still wouldn't work. Took it to another one and was told Ram is aware of this issue since April but no resolution. So here I am pushed into a 2025 Ram 1500 that I cant use and the brake control I ordered was $175 to be told its the wrong one and the one I need is $225. So I am now $225 in that I am trying to install the brake control myself because Jim Shorkey said it would be $350 to install. So $575 for a brake control?!? No thank you. So im stuck with a truck I can't use. Was hoping they would at least say they would install the brake control at no cost since I got the truck there but no. Sales people were nice and really worked to get numbers where I needed but its been one disaster after another with this truck since I bought it in September.

You might want to think twice before dealing with Jim

Reviewed by stpOctober 08, 2025

You might want to think twice before dealing with Jim Shorkey North Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram . To sum up my story - I leased a 2025 Durango, everything was great, I love the vehicle, JJ (salesman) was awesome, could not have done a better job. "BUT" I realized that on the lease I purchased the ceramic coating and the scotch guard, neither were ever applied, I called and was told to bring it back down (45 minutes) and they will reapply it, but it was never originally applied (??) and the scotch guard was not even applied when I took it back. Then 5 days later, I received an email / call from finance that there was some kind of screw up with taxes (???) that we have to resign the paperwork, he emails it over and we resign everything - showing a 12,000 mile a year lease agreement. Everything done, right? NO, now, 1 week later - I just received ANOTHER email/call saying that the signatures didn't go through, we have to resign again. THIS WAS A COMPLETE LIE. The paperwork finance sent this time - he lowered the yearly mileage to 7,500. The manager says that the second set was made in error - how many errors are they going to make? What kind of scam is he/Jim Shorkey running here?? Originally, I gave them a 5-star review, but I couldn't find it, so I had to write this one. Very UNSATISFIED with my whole experience, except JJ, but I will be going on social media, facebook, twitter, etc. telling my story and letting everyone I know not to go to Jim Shorkey.
