Maguire Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Syracuse

I used to consider Maguire a reputable dealership. We bought a 2019 Silverado from Maguire in January 2025. It will be our last. 3 months after the purchase an oil cooler line popped off and all the oil drained out of the engine. We have since learned this is a well-known but very serious issue for these models, for which GM issued a Global bulletin (easily googled). GM required dealers to repair the issue before customers took possession. This was required until June '23. Maguire told me that since it was not a recall they did not have any responsibility to perform any preventative repairs, even though they were well aware of the issue. Knowing of the issue, they let us drive it off the lot and potentially destroy it without even telling us about it. Luckily it seems our truck was not destroyed, but we had an $800 repair. Maguire could have addressed or at least told us about it. Maguire has responded to a review I left suggesting this was just a random issue, but that is false. They knew about it and are prepared to lose customers rather than do the repair or let customers know about it.

Salesperson was unprofessional several times during the course of the sales transaction among other things. This salesperson would benefit from more training on sales presentation. We felt like our time or business was not valuable. We disclosed this on the paper survey we were given, no one addressed our concerns. This person sat in their chair as we were leaving, no thank you, no hand shake for doing business there..owner should look at the camera recording of everything to see the poor salesmanship this person displayed- good video of what not to do!

Awesome experience, Jay went about and beyond expectations and got me the deal I wanted on my new Jeep Grand Cherokee. And Mark was awesome to , mark took me for a test drive and showed me all the bells and whistles, and then finished up the deal. These guys are thorough and professionals and know how to get the job done . Thank you both , I appreciate your kindness and not giving up . These guys are the best . I Love my Jeep . I was well worth the 2.5 hour trip there to get what I want and for these guys to make it happen. Thank you
