I’ve always had good experiences with the team at Lia
I’ve always had good experiences with the team at Lia CJDR Schenectady — Freddy Estrada in service is excellent at communicating and always professional. That’s why this one stung. I supplied my own D3S bulb and ballast for my 2019 Grand Cherokee and was charged $340 in labor only for what most shops and RepairPal list as a 0.5–1.5 hour job (dealer average $180–$250). Even YourMechanic quotes $129–$167 flat for the same work. I completely understand labor rates and that HID access on the Grand Cherokee isn’t the easiest, but when I’m bringing the parts myself, more than triple the going independent/mobile rate feels excessive. Hoping Freddy and Service Manager Rob Dariano can review invoice # 115903 and offer a goodwill adjustment. I’d love to keep coming back to Lia, but this one left a bad taste. Thank you — still a fan of the dealership overall, just looking for this to be made right.
