Len, the salesperson at Town & Country made buying my new Jeep Compass a smooth transition. The Finance Manager JP also treated me like family and both were very knowledgeable.

🅾️ ⭐️ ZERO STARS — Dishonest, Crooked, and Completely Unprofessional If there were a way to give negative stars, Town & Country would earn it without hesitation. Before reaching out, I did my homework and read through the reviews. The same words kept appearing — “Dishonest” (15 times), “Crooked,” and “Scammers.” After my experience, I can confirm every single one is absolutely true. Their positive reviews? Obviously fake. This is exactly why you always start by reading the lowest ones — they tell the truth. Here’s what happened: I inquired online about a 2023 Dodge Charger with 64,000 miles — a former rental fleet vehicle listed at $21,000 if financed or $24,000 cash. I’m a straightforward, no-nonsense buyer who knows what I’m looking for. Given the high rental mileage, I made a fair $20,000 cash offer. Then I spoke with LaRayne, the sales rep. She told me the cash price was higher than the finance price. Let that sink in — they penalize you for paying cash. This has become the new shady tactic in the industry because dealers like this get kickbacks from banks for financing. They’d rather sign up risky loans than deal with real buyers holding real money. I even showed them the TrueCar pricing spectrum proving my $20,000 offer was at the low end — an “Excellent” value — while their $24,000 price fell into the “High” range. It made no difference. When I asked to negotiate before wasting my time driving there, LaRayne said they “don’t negotiate unless you come in person.” That’s absurd. I don’t sit at a dealership for hours talking about financing I have zero interest in. I negotiate first, then come down, test drive, and hand you a check. But apparently, logic and honesty are foreign concepts to this dealership. So I called to speak with a manager. The new car manager passed my call to the used car manager, Mark, who was off that day but called me from his personal cell phone. At first, he pretended to be apologetic — but it was obvious he only called to avoid a bad review (which he’s getting anyway). Mark kept repeating the $21K finance price like a robot. I reminded him the cash price was $24K, and I had already offered $20K. I even asked him directly, “What are you actually willing to come down to? What price will you depart with the car for?” He dodged the question completely. I then said, “If you said $22K, I’d agree right now, bring a bank check, and we’d have a deal.” His response? He said maybe he could come down $500 — then told me to “go to Carvana” because I’m “not Town & Country customer material.” And then, unbelievably, he accused me of “trying to steal the car.” Offering $22K cash for a high-mileage rental fleet Charger is “stealing”? That’s rich. Apparently, people financing with $1,000 down are fine, but someone showing up with full payment in hand is a threat. When I pointed that out, he hung up on me. That moment told me everything I needed to know about this place. Town & Country embodies everything wrong with modern car dealerships — fake prices, phony reviews, manipulative sales tactics, and zero respect for honest customers. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau because this dealership does not deserve the phony A+ rating they currently have. Additionally, I will be filing a complaint with the New York State Attorney General’s Office and reporting their conduct to Stellantis Corporation. This dealership does not represent the Dodge, Jeep, or Ram brands with any level of professionalism or integrity, and they do not deserve to carry those nameplates. Avoid Town & Country at all costs. They are everything you hope a dealership isn’t.
