awful experience at westbury with Kazi Haque

I would strongly advise my friends and family against going to this dealership. I accompanied my brother to the dealership. What ensued was a deceitful and disrespectful display of behavior by the dealership's sales manager, Kazi Haque. Kazi very literally said to us that "Ads are designed to bring people in" (when referencing the disparity between the ad price and their proposed price) and if we didn't like the price, the "door was open." But for his actions, we would have walked out of there with two trucks.
We were looking for a pickup that the dealership was advertising and the numbers we were initially presented were significantly higher. We were told the ad had to be formally presented and it was akin to a "Groupon" - We presented the ad, from their website, the salesperson confirmed the availability of cars meeting the spec and presented us with revised numbers that still included "fees" that were not listed in the ad - We indicated that the difference between us signing and not were the fees that were not included in the fine print of the ad- he requested leave to speak to a manager.
The manager, Kazi Haque approached us and said the numbers were what they were and that "ads are designed to bring people in" - I took exception to that and told him that "ads are supposed to reflect the sales price and not be deceptive" - Kazi then said that if we didn't like the price, the "door is open"
Shocked, I asked for a superior, Kazi indicated he was the manager and his superiors were not in. I asked for a business card, he said "take three."
Of greater concern than being disrespected, is that the powers-that-be leave him in charge of the dealership and their brand. My concern will be addressed with Chrysler and the appropriate consumer protection agencies.

We were dealing with Salesman Martin a very friendly and knowledgable person. We agreed on a 2019 Grand Cherokee with a V 8 engine. W
We took a test drive in a similar 2017 V 8. The vehicle we wanted was said to be stored in a Bethpage Grumman lot. Wife made a telephone contact two weeks ago With Martin and he ageed to call us back with a final price. No call back, no email contact as of date of this review. We made two email contact us attempts, still no contact. We were going to pay with cash and a trade in. I believe dealer likes financing and leasing better than cash. Still waiting to hear from the # one dealer.

I find the entire staff very friendly and helpful from the sales staff to the mangers, business mangers and the service staff. This is my second car from Westbury jeep and the service is outstanding. The Sales teams are not pushy or try to sell you something you don't want. Brain Thomas helped me this time and listened to what I wanted in my new car and my preferred color. He searched their inventory and found just the car I was looking for with just what I requested nothing extra. During the entire process Brain did not try to sell me other features. He was kind enough to explain some other options but did not push. The Sales Manager Wayne also came over and introduced himself but here again he was not pushy and stated he just wanted to say Hi. The experience at Westbury Jeep is like none I have ever had before. At other dealers I have visited the try to push you into a sale and extra options and then the sales Managers comes over to push you to but right then. None of this happens at Westbury Jeep. As I mentioned this is my second experience buying from Westbury Jeep and I couldn't be happier.
I highly recommend to anyone looking for a car or SUV to go to Westbury Jeep as you will get what you want with no pressure and have a great experience from the time you walk in the door until drive out with your new car.
