Recall for tailgate was attempted 3 times and still not any better as the screen still not operable as reads “tailgate open”. So frustrating so I pull over open and close and still says same. Then get out again thinking I didn’t engage it hard enough and shut harder and the tailgate just falls open??? When I asked for another repair effort I was told there was no chance to get a rental for a month? And that might not happen bc Ram has reduced their allotment of loaners- that’s awesome?? I was also sold (at closing) a wheel touch-up service as the truck has black rims and tires are “low profile” and with granite curbing everywhere they’re bound to get scraped and I was told I only had to bring them in and they have a guy that restores them. I agreed and called when the scratches appeared only to be told they’ would get back to me but just send pictures of the wheels and then called back and said “THE INSURANCE DENIED THE CLAIM”. Never in any of the discussion was there any mention of insurance as there’s no way I would have agreed to this- such xx. I would never trust this dealership- would you??
