Oil Change

Reviewed by Gary Hamburg from Bozeman, MTNovember 16, 2021

Just had the oil changed and my Impala serviced yesterday. As with all the oil change shops in town these days the lines were long as I expected. The staff was courteous and receptive. I left the car there and they gave me a call when it was done. Billion staff did an excellent job on my car and also alerted me to future possible electrical problems. I was very pleased with the service and will be there for the next oil change as well.

Don't buy here! Won't buy back the lemon they sale

Reviewed by Amy M from Dover, AROctober 20, 2021

TL;DR Don't buy here, because they will not buy back the lemon they sell you. Be sure to keep ALL records of maintenance on your lemon, so you can show it to the case workers and the Attorney General when you eventually need your replacement vehicle. I purchased a 2020 Dodge Ram 3500 in October of 2020. It had just over 200 miles on it, no previous owner, and it seemed a good option considering I tow a 5th wheel camper. The truck has been nothing but trouble ever since I got it. The exhaust system has caused the check engine light to go off at least 5 times. It went off the first time the week after I bought the truck. I took it in for an issue with the exhaust system in March, and about 2 hours down the road after they "fixed" it, it went off again. I took it to another dodge dealership near where I was staying, and they said it needed a part. That part didn't come in for either dealership until the end of August, and the truck died completely in June. Two weeks after I got it back at the end of August, I had to take it back again, because unlike the mechanic I actually trust, they didn't check anything else out on the vehicle and it needed two fuel filter replacements. They said they could only get one, and it would be fine if the other one didn't get replaced, because the one that needed to be replaced caught "most" of the things being filtered out. Thankfully, I was able to get the other filter from a local mechanic and took it to the service station for them to put in with the other one. Surprise, I just had to take it back again this October, because of another issue with the exhaust system. This time they tell me it's because you have to use a certain brand of oil, or all the issues with the exhaust system will occur. This was after I was told, they couldn't look at it to diagnose the issue for a month. So I had to pay a small fortune to have my camper towed, and now they will not refund me for that, or buy back the lemon they sold me, because I didn't use a dodge dealership to change the oil even though it was the correct oil type according to the owners manual. I find the crap they're trying to sell me with that story to be an utter lie. For nearly every time I have gone for a fix, I've had to wait for hours just to be told to bring it back at a later date for a part. I feel like I've been living in their lobby with how often I am there. I've been patient up until now, but the keep throwing money at it and it will get better policy along with this "we're learning that if you don't use a certain brand of oil the exhaust system will have issues" has gone beyond my tolerance. Don't trust the case workers at Stellantis to help you. They're only there to help you continue throwing money at your lemon. On a brighter note, the sales team is actually really nice, just unfortunately working for a place that won't actually fix your vehicle or replace it when they can't. I've been told this latest "fix" won't actually fix the issue, it's just a stop gap measure while they try to figure out a more permanent fix. Thankfully, I have kept every record of maintenance, including upgrades, so hopefully I will have a shot at the vehicle being replaced or at least have them buy it back so I can go find something that is reliable.

Not what you would expect from a DEALERSHIP!!

Reviewed by J Staller from Bozeman, MTOctober 13, 2021

They talk a good game! Salesman Colton was great. Your always kind of apprehensive when buying a used car, because you really don't know how it was treated. I asked Sam in sales, what if something happens to this thing when I leave here? He said, "it has no factory warranty remaining, but we try to take care of the people that buy from us". We do a 125 point inspection on all of our vehicles. That being said, we bought the vehicle and noticed an oil drip in the driveway 2 days later. I immediately called the salesman up, and he got the vehicle into the shop to diagnose. They found that the oil pan was leaking. Recommended an upper and lower oil pan reseal on 2018 GMC Yukon. Here's the kicker, it will only cost you $1400.00+. So basically, other than looking at it, they did nothing to fix it. This is one thing you don't expect from a dealer. They should have found it in their 125 point inspection and fixed it then, even if they would have had to increase the sales price to re coup their money spent. Not very happy with the way this was handled by the dealership.
