I was willing to give them a chance despite their poor ratings. I found a 2021 Jeep Willys with an eco diesel and was corresponding with them about the unit. Wanted to make sure it was available before making the trip. Get an email saying they want to go over some details before we head that way. The vehicle was listed for $45k online. The salesman calls my husband and tells him “you know how the market is right now”. Then proceeded to tell him they have a $5k up charge on their vehicles! Seriously?! Post it for what the sales price is. Oh, yeah…can’t do that or no one would be interested in your stuff at all with your less than stellar reviews and your $5k up charge. Pathetic customer service. I guess every business should just start charging an additional 10-15% when you go to pay. Wouldn’t that be a great surprise at the grocery store? Won’t be getting my $45k…

Horrific -IMMORAL, UNETHICAL-UNCARING, DEALERSHIP

I TRADED A 2018 Jeep Compass Trailhawk with 4,500 miles to DALE WILLEY. For A 2021 Jeep Renegade Latitude that has Significantly Severely Mechanical Problems! I am a Disabled American Female Veteran and Right Now I am CAR-LESS. My Car Is In The Shop and I Received No Loaners or Rental! I am Extremely Sorry The Day I DROVE INTO DALE WILLEY and Talked With Sales Manager Colin Downey and Spence from Honda Finance. I BARGAINED IN GOOD FAITH and DOWN GRADED to A CAR WITH NUMEROUS CAR Problems! I have absolutely been FRIGHTENED AND AFRAID To Even GET IN This CAR. It’s In The Shop Being Repaired and I have absolutely NOTHING TO DRIVE! HOW FRUSTRATING, IRRITATING, DEPRESSING and STRESSFUL IS THIS! I have not been CAR-LESS for the last 40-YEARS. I have always OWNED 2-AUTOMOBILES and NOW I SEE WHY? NO ONE AT DALE WILLEY’S WILL TALK TO ME! I Am EXASPERATED WITH THIS FOOLISHNESS. I have a CASE WITH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION HEADQUARTERS TEAM WITH JEEP AND I HAVEN’T HEARD FROM ANYONE AFTER 4-PHONE CALLS! I WILL PROBABLY NEVER BUY ONE OF THESE CARS AGAIN. IF A MANUFACTURER WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR CARS WHY SHOULD I PATRONIZE THEM!

One of the worse places to buy a used car collin the manager lies and don't check or look over there cars they just check there sheet has good and hope u don't find anything very rude on phone to my wife and me Collin is one of the worse salesman there is DONT BUY FROM THEM

Our Team is ready for your Call to Action DALE WILLEY AUTOMOTIVE · In the beginning, it was on November 1st of 1970 when Dale Willey opened his first franchise to a Pontiac-Cadillac franchise. In September of 1990 we added the GMC Truck & SUV franchise, and then in 1996 on January 1st we added the Buick franchise. Finally in 2010, the Chevrolet franchise was added giving us the ability to be a full line-full service General Motors dealer of Trucks & Cars & SUV’s. Our original owner Dale Willey started his automotive career in June of 1961 and was the sole owner that opened up his first franchise of Pontiac & Cadillac on November 1st, of 1970 here in Lawrence. Then in September of 1990 we added the GMC Truck & SUV franchise, and finally in 1996 on January 1st we added the Buick franchise. Our owner then became partners with our current owner Greg Maurer in November of 1998, who started his career in the retail automobile business beginning in 1983 in central Illinois and moved to Lawrence Kansas in January of 1993. He worked his way up from Parts & Service Manager to the Fixed Operations Manager, and then he earned the General Manager position prior to becoming the sole owner of Dale Willey Automotive in 2014. In 2019, on March 1st, we acquired the local Honda store in Lawrence and purchased the local Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram Truck store on May 22nd of 2019, which is right next to the Honda store and we could not be more excited for our local residents. Being able to offer all 4 brands of vehicles is the ideal place to shop for our customers As of September 1st, 2020, we opened the doors to our brand new state-of-the-art facility for our Honda store at 2851 Iowa Street with expanded service capabilities and an expanded showroom that you will just LOVE! You must come by and see our new facility that sits on almost 4.5 acres of land. We also have our Dale Willey Collision Center in the same location as our 4 stores. Our Auto Body and Paint facility now services all 4 locations and they work with most major insurance companies to help you with getting back on the road again after painting or repairs have been professionally completed.
