Turpin Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM

I bought my vehicle from turpins last September. I made an appointment for an oil change and was told I couldn’t get a total amount for the oil change service in case there were any “shop materials“ needed during the oil change. I asked what consisted of shop materials and I was told “nuts, bolts and if they needed to use any grease during the oil change“ WHAT! Why would they need or use grease for an oil change??? And nothing is leaking so why would I need a bolt or a nut unless they broke one off or lose one? How is that on me? I said ”ok” to the additional charges “if they were needed“ but that is like to be able to witness which “shop materials“ were being used that I would be charged for, I was denied that request and told not to worry “it’s only usually about 2 or 3 dollars… not be able to know or understand where these additional charges were going to come from for a simple routine oil change, I opted to cancel my service there. And if Turpins cannot afford a .10 cent bolt or nut if one should be needed after I just spent almost 20k with them buying a vehicle… well, they have much bigger problems than I do! After returning home yesterday it dawned on me and I totally forgot that I took my Dodge avenger there when I first moved here in 2021 to have routine oil changes only to find out that my oil was not being changed. Only the oil filter was. I found this out when I took it to a different place to have an oil change and was reprimanded for not keeping up on the maintenance of my vehicle because the oil was all black, thick and sludge. I do have pictures and receipts for anyone who would like to see. I did tell the Turpin service manager ant the time about the issue and was given an apology. Today, I received a call from a salesman at Turpins wanting to see if I wanted to upgrade from my vehicle purchase in September into a newer truck that will cost me between 900 and $1000 a month. I explained to him what had taken place yesterday with the oil change and he just blatantly said “let me know if there’s anything I can help you with in the future”. I explained to him that I did just talk to him about something he could help me with, and obviously he wasn’t going to and asked to please be removed from his list of calls I am so very tired and disheartened of being taken advantage monetarily by businesses and especially multimillion dollar companies. I have never before in my life heard of an open end cost on a simple routine oil change where they can’t tell you what the charges were going to be!
