I tow a 2018 RAM Pickup behind my motorhome. I had a malfunction with my RV towing system which basically destroyed my brakes. I limped in around 2:30 on a Friday afternoon, when you know everyone is anxious to go home. Sean the service advisor got a technician to start in right away. He replaced the brakes on all 4 wheels and got me back on the road within 24 hours saving our cross country RV trip. Everyone went above and beyond.

I thought they would be a little more helpful and upfront. I called them to make an appointment for a service they had diagnosed about a month ago. I also told them the heater wasn't working properly and they said they could check it out. The cost for the filter replacement was almost $800 without taxes or credit card fees. When I went to drop it off and reminded them to let me know their thoughts on the heater not working I was told it would be an extra $170 for a diagnostic charge to tell me what was wrong with the heater. I asked if the diagnostic cost would actually tell me why the heater wasn't working and he said that they had to run it. I also asked if the diagnostic fee would be waived in the cost of repairs and he said no, that it would be in addition to any repairs. I drove an hour there and back and so did my wife because she was going to pick me up. It was a waste of my time. This might very well be the way the world works now but I will look for any other way of dealing with the problems than have a surprise charge applied for something that may or may not lead to a proper diagnosis and then undoubtedly lead to a much bigger repair cost that may or may not fix the problem. I guess the bottom line is I won't make the mistake of going back for service or to look for a vehicle. I also think it is worth noting to anyone considering going there to ask about all fees before you make the drive.
