Bait and Switch. False advertisement.
Scummiest car dealership I’ve ever dealt with and that’s saying something. We all know car dealerships tend not to have much integrity but this dealership’s sales tactics are criminal. Bait and switch, false advertising. They offer cars online for a price that they will not sell them at. We drove 2.5 hours to buy a 44000 dollar car. After all their fees it was 60k. They used a “reconditioning fee” of 10 thousand dollars alone. They claimed that was for maintenance. They literally did an oil change and replaced two tires totaling 1200 bucks. But they charge you 10k…. So in the end they offered me the $44,000 for 46k because they still factored their two knock off tires and cheap off brand oil into the price. As many others have said just steer clear. They Jack up the price with unjustified fees just to act like they’re doing you a favor by selling you the car for more than they listed it for in the first place.

Worst Experience Ever!!
Imagine experiencing all the worst stories about used car sales at a dealership in a single day. That was my recent experience at Napleton's They had a 2021 GMC Acadia Denali priced at $35,979.00 on CarGurus. That price was incorrect and deceptive. When they handed me an invoice, the price as several thousand higher than listed. I expected tax and title to added, but there several thousand dollars of "add-ons" installed that I did not want and would not. This is classic "bait and switch". You use the $35,979.00 as the bait and switch to the much higher price with the "extras". When I told the salesperson I wouldn't pay for the add-ons, I got the classic "I'll have to check with my manager” ploy. He's gone for a few minutes, then he comes back with a new price that's still much higher than the CarGurus price plus tax and title. I tell him no, he leaves and comes back with his manager. Now the salesperson is aggressive (bad cop) and the manager is all nice (good cop). The manager even gives me the classic “what's it going to take to put you in this vehicle” line. We all haggle back and forth until we agree on a price. So now I figure that I can pay and leave. But noooo. They leave me sitting by myself for almost three hours because the vehicle is being “detailed”. That was not true because the vehicle was already detailed when I took it for a test drive. The real reason for the three hour delay was that they had to remove all the “add-ons”. I asked them to do two things...remove the weight distribution hitch from my old vehicle and put it on the new one, and also to remove the trailer breaking module under the dash. After three hours, I'm finally getting ready to leave when I see that the hitch and module are still on my old vehicle. They tell me that they can't figure out how to remove the brake module and can't put the hitch on.. Instead they throw the dirty rusty hitch in the back where it stains the carpet and scrapes the sides of the cargo area. This was thoroughly disrespectful treatment that will not be forgotten.
