I had an awful experience purchasing my Dodge Durango GT
I had an awful experience purchasing my Dodge Durango GT Plus with factory tow package at Lodi CDJR. I first spoke with Joey Williams, the GM, and sent him VIN, photos, and trade-in offers from CarMax/Carvana. He assured me they were competitive and encouraged me to drive down with my bank check in hand. I expected only to finalize the trade-in value. Instead, Joey handed me off to Marty, the salesperson, and things got gross fast. What should have been simple turned into hours of back-and-forth. I even left once, but came back when I thought we’d finally reached the right number. After nearly five hours, I sat with finance only to discover the price had ballooned over $5,000 more than expected. They tried to force add-ons like door guards and Star Guard, claiming they were already installed. I was crystal clear I didn’t want them, but Star Guard was still buried in the contract. Frustrated and under duress, I signed just to get out. Afterward, I called repeatedly and kept getting brushed off. It took three days and multiple messages before Joey finally returned my call — only to be dismissive and unhelpful. And Joey, since you clearly don’t know what a “used car salesman” is: it’s the greasy smile that hides the knife, the phony handshake backed by hidden fees, and the slime that oozes through every false promise. In other words — exactly what your dealership put on display. They are not honest, they slip in charges, and they don’t stand by their word. Steer clear.

So after taking my vehicle into the dealership in August
So after taking my vehicle into the dealership in August for a oil consumption test, my wife set up there for 6 hours just for an oil change. Had an appointment and the appointment was I guess only to speak to the advisor not to have the work done. That part I can totally forgive but to the end to go on lunch at 12:00 and not give her an update on what's going on is beyond disrespectful. I have every call from them recorded. So after having to drive the car a thousand miles and take it back to them I was eligible for a new engine. Well my service advisor Marcus Candia messed up the first time and a second time and never called me to let me know what was happening. He would call me once every two weeks or I would have to call him first just to get a call back but then to always get the run around that. Oh he is not here. He's not at his desk, a manager was never present. He was always gone on a doctor's appointment or God knows where. So after battling with them for 2 months just to have to go up there in person and speak to the general manager of the whole dealership. Things finally got resolved. Well now I get my engine back and he wants to call me late in the day so I pick my car up at 5:20 on 11/15/2024 just to find out that the mileage that my car went in was 67,063 I asked my service advisor okay. Did they drive the car and for how many miles? Yeah the mileage out is right here. 67,070 just for me to get into my vehicle and to see my odometer says 67,066. To me having worked in the Auto industry as an advisor that is a red flag because either you're lying or your technician is lying and he didn't drive my vehicle. So which one is it now? I'm upset trying to let him know what's going on and he's trying to dismiss me and all I wanted was just an explanation of what happened. It's documented that you drove it but you didn't drive it. This is the worst experience that I've had at a dealership and even being an advisor for 10 years. I've never treated customers like this but I will say this about the dealership t My issue is with there to where is on

I took my vehicle home with the same issues I was having.
I took my vehicle home with the same issues I was having. The dealership took 42 days to do nothing with my vehicle. Now I need to take my vehicle somewhere else where they can fix it and pay for the damages when my insurance was willing to pay for the damages. This is a reflect of how not to do business. Dealerships should not be taking more cars than they can work with.
