Looked at the Traverse on Sunday and bought it on Monday. Good vehicle new tires and good service record. Like the color, and how it handles.

I love that I can fit my kids with the dogs and still have plenty of room. This car is what I've been looking for.

The 2017 Chevrolet Traverse is a midsize family SUV that seats up to 8 passengers across three rows. It is built on the same platform as the Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia. It competes with the Ford Explorer, Mazda CX-9, and Toyota Highlander.

Four trims are available: the LS, 1LT, 2LT, and Premier.

Overall, the Traverse has a soft, rounded appearance. It features a wide-mouth front fascia, angular headlights, and a big front grille. The B and C pillars are blacked out, giving the windows a more unifying look. The base model has a black clad trim running around the bottom of the vehicle, but body color matching is available. Power side mirrors, daytime running lamps, and automatic headlights come standard. Available features include front fog lights, heated side mirrors, a dual-pipe exhaust system, a roof rack, a power lift gate, a trailer hitch receiver, and chrome exterior accents.

Powering the Traverse is a standard 281-hp, 3.6-liter V-6 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy for the Traverse is an EPA-estimated 15/22 mpg city/highway. All-wheel drive is also available.

Inside, the Traverse features a premium cloth interior with a symmetrical layout. The second row bench seat can be replaced for a pair of more comfortable captain’s chairs. With the rear seats folded down, the Traverse has a maximum cargo capacity of 116.3 cubic feet. The standard touchscreen audio system can be upgraded to MyLink multimedia system, which can include a 6.5-inch touchscreen, an integrated navigation system, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility, Siri Eyes Free mode, and a rear seat entertainment system. Standard features include OnStar 4G LTE connectivity with Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth connectivity for phone and audio, satellite radio, a dual USB port, and remote keyless entry.
