The 2023 Chevrolet Suburban is the extended version of the full-size Tahoe SUV. It can seat up to nine passengers across three rows. Maximum cargo capacity is 144.7 cubic feet with the second- and third-row seats folded down.
Six trims are available: LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country.
Powering the Suburban is a standard 355-hp, 5.3-liter V-8 engine mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission that produces 383 pounds-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) comes standard, while four-wheel drive is available. A more powerful 420-hp, 6.2-liter V-8 joined with the same ten-speed automatic is also available. Fuel economy for the RWD Suburban LS has the best EPA-estimated rating of 15/19 mpg city/highway.
