2021 Chevrolet Suburban Overview

The 2021 Chevrolet Suburban is the extended version of the full-size Tahoe SUV. Along with the Tahoe, the Suburban has been redesigned this year. It can seat up to nine passengers across three rows. Maximum cargo capacity is 144.7 cubic feet with the second- and third-row seats folded down.

Six trims are available: LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country.

Powering the Suburban is a standard 355-hp, 5.3-liter V-8 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that produces 383 pounds-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) comes standard, while four-wheel drive is available. A more powerful 420-hp, 6.2-liter V-8 joined with a ten-speed automatic is also available. Fuel economy for the RWD Suburban LS has the best EPA-estimated rating of 16/20 mpg city/highway.
