Suffering several issues from a previous accident

by Not Impressed from Watertown | April 03, 2020

This would be a nice car but it has several issues that were concealed and not disclosed from the used car dealership. It's been in the shop for more days than it's been in my garage. When it runs, I like it. It's a little bit under powered and god forbid it goes into limp mode and the turbo shuts off. It's as powerful as a sick kitten without the turbo.

I had my car about 2 weeks and I am loving the way it drives, it's good on gas mileage, the feel of everything the car was a good choice to buy.

Bought it used with 32, 900+ miles on it.

by dsMalibu from Angola, Indiana | March 12, 2020

I've had it 3 weeks and it's been in the shop for a bad sensor in the hood latch. Warranty work. Fixed, and it's a nice car to drive. The previous owner never re-set the #2 trip meter, and when I checked , it had 32, 900 plus miles showing, and an average of 34.2 miles over that distance driven. Very impressive, when the MPH average was at 47.3. This is the fourth Malibu I've owned, and I've been happy with every one of them. My first a 1981 Malibu Classic, then a 2006, a 2015, and this, the 2018. between the 2006 and the 2015, I had over 90,000 trouble free miles. I'm looking forward to that kind of service from my 2018. However the 2018 could use about 30 or 40 more horsepower... It has only 7 horses more that my 2018 Cruze...
