2021 Chevrolet Equinox Overview

The 2021 Chevrolet Equinox is a compact SUV that seats five passengers. Maximum cargo capacity is 63.9 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down.

Four trim levels are available: L, LS, LT, and Premier.

The Equinox powered by a standard 170-hp, turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive (FWD). All-wheel drive (AWD) is available for the LS and higher trim levels.

The LT and Premier trims also have an optional 252-hp, turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a nine-speed automatic. FWD comes standard on the Turbo 2.0 models, but AWD is available as well.
