I got my diagnostics done that didn't tell me anything I didn't already know but that's not their fault. I was told by the desk clerk in the service department they couldn't check my ABS issue because my suspension was so bad. My regular mechanic said it would have nothing to do with that and I believe them. I've had those same suspension issues without causing the ABS to fail. I asked them to check the magnets on the bearings knowing broken magnets would cause my ABS to fail. The response by the desk clerk in the service department was 'if the magnets were broken they would cause codes.' That tells me they didn't check the magnets. I would have given a better rating if they would have taken the time to check the bearing magnets like I asked instead of blowing me off. The technician should have known about the bearings and checked them as I requested. I felt they were not wanting to take the time to evaluate and troubleshoot my issue as I asked them to do. This experience is the reasons I don't go to a dealership unless I feel I absolutely need to. Seems like most act as if the customer doesn't know anything about their vehicles. I have worked on my own vehicles and do research to try to figure out what the problem may be. If I cant fix it, I go to a mechanic or a dealership. I will probably go to another dealership after this.
