I recently bought a used 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe from Lipscomb Chevrolet, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. Not long after purchasing I had to replace the water temp sensor. Now, there is a message to service suspension system. Our salesman Drew said that we could make an appointment and they would take a look at the shocks that they replaced to see if they were faulty. I contacted the service department to make an appointment and they told me I would have to leave my vehicle there for a couple of DAYS. I told them that this is the only transportation that gets me to and from work that I would need a loaner vehicle. They said that they are booked out months in advance for loaner vehicles that I should contact my salesman to see if he could put me in a loaner vehicle. When I reached out for help, my salesman, Drew, told me that his manager said I bought a used 2017 vehicle and that they “can barely get customers who purchased new vehicles into a loaner.” That kind of response says everything about how they treat customers after the sale. It’s frustrating to spend this much money on a vehicle and get no support when something goes wrong—especially for work they’ve already done. I expected better accountability and customer service. If you’re considering buying here, be cautious. Get everything in writing and don’t expect much help once you’ve signed the papers.
