Good morning, Anthony. My name is Dennis Curley. Service Manager. We spoke on Friday when your issue occurred. I would like to clarify your statement. First off we did make a mistake and I certainly owned up to multiple times and stated it should not have happened. I believe you as a mechanic for 20 years as you told me have been there. Mistakes happen and how you address them is key. We did not pour oil over your engine. The oil cap was loose and the dipstick was not fully seated. Oil had gotten on your motor due to the oil cap. Per our conversation you mentioned the oil was still reading on the dipstick and we both agreed that there was still over 4 quarts of oil in the motor. The vehicle takes 4.8 quarts. I apologized numerous times for the issue. I also stated to you whatever costs you were out of pocket for cleaning the engine and adding oil, please let me know. You mentioned it was not a big deal for that but your wheels were damaged by my techs impact gun and some lug nuts were rounded off. I asked for you to please send me pictures and I will address it and get back to you. You sent me the pictures while I was not in the office over the weekend. I left you a voice mail Monday so that we could take care of this. Again I am trying to make this right for you. I want to make sure this gets fixed at no cost to you. I am waiting for your phone call back so we can handle this. Anthony I do understand your frustration with everything. Even why you purchased your vehicle from us and not where you worked for so many years. To say Videon tried to downplay the whole event and act like it was fine is just not true at all.
