I have been a loyal customer of Raceway Chevrolet of
I have been a loyal customer of Raceway Chevrolet of Bethlehem since purchasing my new Suburban in 2022. I trusted them with every single maintenance interval, believing the dealership would provide the highest quality care. I was wrong. I recently took my vehicle to a local shop for a quick oil change and was shocked when the technician showed me my oil plug. It was completely smashed and rounded off—the direct result of the service department at Raceway using improper tools or over-tightening it during my previous visits. The local shop had to spend extra time and labor just to extract the damaged plug and replace it. It is clear that Raceway’s service team is rushing their work and neglecting basic mechanical standards. If they are willing to be this careless with a simple oil plug, I hate to think what else they are overlooking. I will not be returning.

Bought our Acadia at Raceway chevy, it had immediate
Bought our Acadia at Raceway chevy, it had immediate transmission issues. They worked on transmission several different times, but still had the same issue. We took back several times and they couldn't replicate the issue while the vehicle is still under warranty. Finally we got tired of it and afraid the car would leave us stranded and decided to trade it in. While raceway was doing the road test, guess what they found? The transmission issue we complained about for months. They wanted to deduct that issue off our trade in. We brought up maybe contacting a lawyer about this issue and Travis made it crystal clear that they dont like the L word around there and we'd be flat out stuck with our transmission issue and the transaction would be conducted differently. We asked several times if they'll just fix the transmission and Travis said they would NOT replace the transmission because it'll cost too much for them. We then made the poor decision to trade our car in on a down graded vehicle and have double the car payment. Well, come to find out via CarFax they replaced the transmission and sold the vehicle a month later. This is called deceptive business practices, they wouldn't honor our vehicle warranty, accepted the trade in on faulty vehicle, denied fixing it for us, then proceeded to replace transmission and sold the vehicle a month later for financial benefits towards them. I would never recommend Travis or RaceWay chevy to anyone EVER.
