Emmert Motors Offers Horrible Service
Do not use Emmert. I went in for a FREE airbag recall and they had my vehicle so messed up it became unsafe to drive. After their fourth attempt to rectify their mistakes (crimped the wires during the recall install, and never told me) I had to take my vehicle to another certified dealership. It cost me $2300.00 to get my vehicle fixed back to the way it was prior to bringing it to Emmert. They fried the airbag sensor, the connector, the throttle body and the abs! They knowingly and willingly let me drive a vehicle that was unsafe for almost two months. Airbags would not work and throttle would stick or accelerate at any time. Not one person at Emmert was honest or tried to do the right thing. The owner would not even call me back on multiple attempts. Shame on them. This is what you get for staying local!

My story: Last spring my truck got a little 'dingy'. We went to Emmerts to make an appointment for repair. Made an appointment for Fall. This giving time for them to work with my insurance. Mid summer I gave Emmerts $3,300. Partial or down payment...which is not normally required. September comes, I take my truck in for repair. I'm told it will take 3 weeks. Okay. 3 weeks and 3 days later-with no word at all from Emmerts-I went to get my truck. It has not been touched! What? Seems insurance did not agree with the $8,000 repair!?? 8,000 dollars? yes. one day later I got a call saying "get my personals out of the truck-IT IS A TOTAL LOSS. Insurance wants to haul it from Emmerts to avoid more 'storage fees'. No way, this is MY truck. It is not a loss. I just put 5,000 engine rebuild in it.(Not by Emmerts). I go to get my truck. Emmerts refuses to give me my truck for 3 days. So much song n dance. But day 3 an officer told me to talk to ...Nolan. Nolan is one step down from the owner. That day, after mentioning Mr. Nolan, they gave me my keys and my truck. And Emmerts want to charge me for storage fees! I did not take my truck to Emmerts for STORAGE! So I am fixing my truck myself. No-I have no idea how, but I am learng. I have talked with insurance all along-they have been the best in helping me get enough cash due to the earlier improvements and engine rebuild.-Not done by Emmerts. Farmers BTW.(in case you want to know). This is turning out to be one of the worst/best experiences of my life! (as for learning lessons. As for Emmerts and my 3 week without a truck plus 3,300 dollar loss?...With their experience in this sort of thing I doubt I have a chance of being reimbursed or compensated. We will see Monday. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. EMMERTS MOTOR COMPANY BOOO.
